Continuing with the undead theme, another now ancient miniature from Gary Morley’s mid-90s Warhammer undead range.

At the time this was a neat, uncomplicated sculpt and fun to paint.

By this time I (and many other ‘Eavy Metal team painters) were playing around with the various test paints that Mike McVey had been receiving while he developed the new range of Citadel Colour paints. As such, this miniature (and several others at the time) received a predominantly deep blue-purple and red paint scheme using paints that never saw commercial release.
