Some old gems received from Josh over at Section 9 Studios — these photographs illuminate some members of the Games Workshop Design Studio ‘Eavy Metal team, circa 1996, housed within the old studio on Castle Boulevard, Nottingham.

Happily, all are still well and pursuing their pursuits.

Zooming in on my desk reveals the year as the (at the time) yet to be released orc bigun command sculpted by Brian Nelson are clearly visible.

Note: The block of heroin on Richard’s desk is actually a brown tape paint pallet loving layered over years of servitude.
